Urbal objectives
Who is it for?
The Urbal tool has been designed to support practitioners (innovator, policy-maker, community organizer, funder, etc.), whether public or private, who want their actions to evolve, to be disseminated, understood and evaluated towards greater sustainability.
What can it do?
It helps identify positive and negative changes, on the road to sustainability, that emerge from the activities and the conditions connected to the innovation.
It accompanies and guides you in your food projects, activities and decision-making with an open-source, low-cost, easy to implement and context-adaptable tool.
It guides you to identify the facilitating elements or barriers to achieve these changes/ linked to the innovation.
It highlights the ability of the innovation to contribute to the transformation of sustainable food systems by being replicated, imitated, networked, amplified, supported and disseminated at multiple scale.
It enables the identification and selection of indicators to assess sustainability.
How?
Through open access to all resources, the Urbal method involve:
- Multi-stakeholder participation and collective intelligence.
- A reflexive exercise to map pathways of changes and impacts.
